Our Church
Welcome to First Baptist Church, located in the heart of downtown Marietta, Ohio. Founded in 1818, the church has a rich history of serving families within our community. While the methods of ministry have changed with each generation; sharing the message of Jesus Christ has remained at the core of who we are at FBC.
Our mission is “to be a family of believers, who seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ.” Each ministry of the church is intentionally designed to foster discipleship for all generations, while creating community among all who attend.
